Mazour Outfitting Co. is a family-led company based in Boerne, Texas. Jed, Denise, and Hunter bring deep local knowledge, years on the Upper Guadalupe, and a shared love of the outdoors to each trip.
Owner and guide
Jed Mazour
Jed has lived in Boerne since the mid-1990s. He is the owner and operator of Couture Floors, a local business of more than 20 years, husband to Denise, and father to Hunter and Elizabeth.
For nearly 30 years, Jed has explored the Hill Country through hunting, fishing, camping, and scouting for Native American artifacts. His experience floating the Guadalupe River gives him extensive knowledge to share on fishing-focused trips, relaxed floats, and days spent learning about the area. He prepares each outing with the goal of making guests feel safe, comfortable, and welcome.
Local host and outdoor enthusiast
Denise Mazour
Denise was born and raised in Boerne and has spent the last 22 years raising Hunter and Elizabeth in the same area where she grew up.
A full-time nurse, parent, wife, and outdoor enthusiast, Denise brings Hill Country knowledge, situational awareness, and serious cooking skills to the team. Her warmth helps guests – especially kids – feel comfortable and welcome on the river.
Guide
Hunter Mazour
Son of Jed and Denise and brother to Elizabeth, Hunter lives up to his name. As a hunting guide in the area, he brings extensive knowledge of local wildlife, hunting opportunities, and field tactics.
Hunter has also guided trips on the Upper Guadalupe River for the past five years. His relaxed personality sets an easygoing tone, and he enjoys helping younger guests learn the basics. Guests looking for a challenge – or a conversation about local hunting opportunities – will find a knowledgeable guide in Hunter.
